Day in the life: Weekend Day at UVA

8:00 = Wake up. Get dressed. Get ready for the day.

9:00 – 12:00 = Flyering and Chalking for SAO.

So after staying up until 3 in the morning to do some CS homework – I woke up on Saturday morning to 8:00. I took a snapshot of the view and headed off to meet with a fellow SAO sister. I’ve been trying to start a sorority on Grounds, and it’s been tough trying to reach out to people and speak at their events. On Saturday morning, we went around and did some chalking as well as some flyering. 

12:30 – 3:00 = Volunteered!

Then at 12:30, I volunteered for the Green Game. The Green Game is a competition among ACC schools, I believe there are 65 competing schools, and we are trying to divert waste from landfills into recycling. I took a few pictures. I didn’t go to the game, but UVA beat Duke. The ‘Hoos beat the Devils! 

3:00 – 7:00 = Homework Time ~

7:00 – 9:30 – Movie Time + Food

Afterward, I did some homework, and then I went to Movie on the Hill. Since it’s October, we decided to watch Nightmare Before Christmas. We ate dumplings, and noodles, and it was wonderful. I was watching the movie for the second time and I honestly feel like it was more confusing this time. What about Jack completely failing at doing Christmas gets him out of his Halloween funk? What does he actually like about Sally? 

Anyway, I did more homework after the movie. Journaled in my new journal and headed off to bed. 

1:00 = Bedtime!
