This is the perfect time to look back on your New Year’s Resolutions and see how far you’ve come. Often, we leave our goals on pieces of paper that we haven’t returned to after New Years. At the end of the year, we are struck with the feeling that we didn’t do anything worth celebrating. (Which is why we ALL need to journal, but that’s another post!)
As a college student on summer break, I didn’t really have much planned to do or accomplish today. This morning I woke up, brushed my teeth, made a simple to do list, went to the gym for a 30-minute workout, and then came home, where I almost burnt my house down making breakfast.
This weekend I had the chance to go to Her Conference NYC. It was filled with speakers, panels, and tons of fun photo ops! For all you who are ready to take the world by storm and go after your dreams, I wanted to share what I learned at Her Conference.
This world is an interesting place. For all the time we have in the world, 24 hours every single day, we tend to fill it up pretty quickly. We go to school, work, hang out with friends, watch TV, and scroll social media. In the midst of all the things we have to do, we don’t ever stop the think we have a problem.
Take care of yourself. Try some of these daily habits for self-care.
