easy autumn to hard winter season | quiet winter series

The transition from fall to winter is always hard. While some romanticize winter with its peaceful, snow white appearance, the bitter chill hits as you step outside the door. With the quiet winter series, I want to take a chance to slow down in winter, not for the purpose of hibernating (although that’s tempting) but to reflect.

I’ve got to admit winter is my least favorite season. I’m partial to summer for her warmth, her endless blue skies, her way of drawing us outdoors. But alas, I escaped to Virginia (for a short while) and the mountains beckon me south.

Growing & Feeling

In fact, COVID hit and made it even more difficult to connect with people and just to be a student, trying to learn and study and grow.
